Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Certara USA, LLC, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions, both on premises and in the cloud (AWS). Your expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, AWS, networking, and Python will be essential for success in this role.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong understanding of software development practices and methodologies. Your exceptional customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions
- Develop and maintain automated deployment processes using Kubernetes and Docker
- Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline software releases
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients during installation, configuration, and management of Certara software products
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a senior or lead role
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux operating systems, AWS/Azure/GCP services, networking principles, and Python and Bash scripting
- Experience managing and optimizing infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments
- Proficient in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools
