As a key member of the JD Finish Line creative team, the Senior Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. This individual will collaborate closely with the Art Director to lead design efforts across various channels, including in-store, corporate, and digital executions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and a conceptual mindset to create impactful experiences and campaigns. As a leader within the creative team, the Senior Designer will apply strategic thinking and design best practices to workflow and creative output.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead design efforts across a range of projects, campaigns, and day-to-day initiatives to support business needs.
- Mentor junior designers and third-party resources, providing guidance and support.
- Develop relationships with cross-functional team members to produce forward-thinking concepts that drive business results and elevate the Finish Line brand experience.
- Ensure brand consistency by enforcing and evolving Finish Line brand standards.
- Assist with preparing and directing photo shoots as needed.
- Support the Art Director in the still and video capture process from pre to post production.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Additional 3-5 years of experience in a design position, agency, or in-house department.
- Demonstrated mastery of design fundamentals, digital design fundamentals, user experience fundamentals, and brand creative fundamentals.
- Strong proficiency in Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Google products, including Slides and Drive.
- Sit for more than 6 hours per shift.
- Use hands to finger, handle, and feel.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Talk and/or hear.
- Walk or move from one location to another.
- Periodically may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
The company reserves the right to modify this job description with or without notice. Employees may be asked to perform additional duties outside of normal job scope on a temporary basis per company policy. The pay range is $67,000 - $80,000, with a 15% bonus target annually. This role will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off plan.
