About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at PMC Global, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting activities including corporate reporting, month-end closing, and verifying accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Month-End Closing: Ensure timely completion of month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Verify and allocate payments, as well as reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • General Ledger: Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform regular audits.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and fiscal inventory.
  • Product Error-Free Accounting Reports: Prepare and present error-free accounting reports to senior management.
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Trial Balance Analysis: Conduct trial balance analysis and other business analyses as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Possess at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Corporate Reporting Experience: Proven experience in corporate reporting, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
  • ERP Systems: Have experience with ERP systems, with SAGE being a plus.
  • Hyperton Knowledge: Knowledge of Hyperion is desired.
  • Multitasking: Ability to prioritize projects and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
