Position: Senior AI / ML Engineer

Sector: Automotive Software Development / Autonomous Vehicles

Work Arrangement: Remote, United States

Compensation: $180,000-$270,000 + Bonus & Equity

This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned AI / ML Engineer to influence the evolution of autonomous vehicles and self-driving technology. The organization is in search of a driven AI engineer to propel software advancements for next-generation software-defined vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer projects that implement established AI models and frameworks to tackle a variety of business challenges across multiple sectors.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather specifications and convert them into impactful AI-driven solutions.
  • Refine and enhance AI models to align with specific applications and use cases, ensuring optimal performance and relevance.
  • Investigate and test various AI models, libraries, and methodologies to discover the most effective solutions for identified challenges.
  • Create tailored AI solutions as necessary, employing advanced methodologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Work closely with data scientists and software developers to integrate AI solutions smoothly into current systems and processes.
  • Continuously assess the performance of deployed AI models, making necessary modifications and enhancements to sustain effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline; a Master's or PhD is preferred.
  • Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and other AI technologies.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems, and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Automotive sector.
