We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Central AI team at GradBay. This team is responsible for building and maintaining the company's AI infrastructure, data pipelines, and machine learning models.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and experience in developing and implementing advanced algorithms and models. They will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and train sophisticated models.
  • Design and implement system and model architectures, conduct experiments, and perform rigorous model evaluations.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to integrate AI features into products and services.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior ML engineers.
  • Work on core shared AI experiences, such as search, knowledge discovery, and conversation.

Requirements

  • Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in data science.
  • Expertise in Python or Java, with the ability to write efficient, production-quality code; familiarity with SQL, Spark, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Databricks).
  • Experience building and scaling machine learning models for business applications using large datasets.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data science concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Focus on practical, business-oriented solutions with a high standard for quality output.
  • Agile mindset, valuing constant iteration and improvement.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working in B2C, B2B, or SaaS environments.
  • Experience developing deep learning models or working with LLM applications.
