Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing an innovative recommendation engine at scale
  • Balancing research and coding responsibilities
  • Employing various programming languages with an emphasis on production
  • Taking ownership of projects with potential for CTO mentorship
  • Focusing on computer vision, recommendation engines, and deep learning techniques
  • Designing and testing AI/ML models for diverse applications
  • Creating scalable infrastructures and production-ready solutions
  • Participating in conventional machine learning processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in computer vision, recommendation systems, deep learning, or other machine learning domains
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in machine learning
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in machine learning engineering
  • A research background in computer vision and recommendation systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in startup environments
  • Background in developing recommendation systems for retail
  • Familiarity with augmented reality technologies
  • A mindset geared towards product management
