Position Overview:

The Lead Clinic RN will provide expert nursing care in accordance with the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and the policies of Pacific Medical Centers. This role involves delivering both primary and specialized health care services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team, integrating clinical, educational, consulting, care coordination, and leadership nursing roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the distribution of workload among nursing staff, ensuring effective on-the-job training and performance reviews.
  2. Serve as a resource for staff regarding standard policies and procedures.
  3. Utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, applying the principles of the Nursing Process in patient care delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Degree in Nursing (Baccalaureate, Associate, or Diploma) from an accredited institution.
  2. Active Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  3. Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  4. A minimum of one year of recent nursing experience in a patient care environment.

Preferred:

  1. Two years of recent nursing experience in a patient care setting.
  2. Experience in an outpatient clinical environment.
