We are seeking an Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our team at Soar Autism Center.

About Us

Soar Autism Center is creating a network of interdisciplinary clinics dedicated to helping children with autism and their families thrive. Our services include naturalistic therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, mental health services, and diagnostic services, all designed to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to care.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing one-on-one care and teaching new skills to children in a 1:1 setting, ensuring their comprehensive growth. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or similar or related educational experiences.

The role also involves collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary child care giver and teach new skills to children in a 1:1 setting.
  • Engage children in a play-based routine and transform everyday child care moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families and offer regular insights on their child's progress.
Requirements
  • Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or similar or related educational experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Works effectively on a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $20.50 - $26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion.
