Job Title: Marketing Consultant

About the Role:

The Marketing Consultant will play a crucial role in driving the "voice of the customer" into our client's marketing efforts, focusing on retention strategies for existing employers/members and attraction of new member groups. This position requires the execution of marketing plans, sales enablement, digital coordination, and strategic market research to support the Health Plan & Medical Groups by monitoring performance, providing customer insights, and guiding leadership decisions through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Marketing Plans: Develop end-to-end project plans, produce core sales enablement materials, and coordinate digital marketing efforts to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Deliver with Excellence: Execute projects to a high standard, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and continuously seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on diverse, complex assignments with significant scope, involving cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive business results and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide insights into customer needs and market trends, shaping strategies for product development, branding, and service performance to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales and marketing initiatives, providing data-driven support for senior leadership's strategic and tactical decisions to optimize business outcomes.
  • Conduct market research, estimate project scope and costs, and manage ongoing and ad-hoc research projects to inform business decisions and drive innovation.
  • Lead efforts to improve departmental functions, services, and internal communications to enhance the overall customer experience and drive business success.
  • Coordinate training seminars and interregional meetings to enhance the team's market research capabilities and drive knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Seek ways to leverage knowledge and research across the organization for greater impact and business value.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research, or a related field. Preferred: Master's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business, or Social Sciences with training in qualitative and quantitative analysis. Doctorate preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, market research, or related fields. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and oversee large-scale initiatives. Expertise in market research methodologies and application to solving business problems. Demonstrated ability to develop new research techniques and contribute to evolving work standards.

Compensation: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
