Job Summary:
As a key member of our team at destinationone Consulting, the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator will play a vital role in developing and implementing plans to prepare for emergencies and disasters. This position requires a strong focus on risk assessment, training, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess community risks and develop emergency preparedness plans.
Conduct training and drills for emergency response teams.
Collaborate with local agencies and organizations for preparedness initiatives.
Maintain records and reports on preparedness activities.
Educate the public on emergency readiness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public health, or related field.
Experience in emergency preparedness or related area.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of emergency management frameworks and protocols.
