Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and direct a team of maintenance mechanics to ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  • Maintenance Planning and Execution: Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective maintenance practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and safety.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, R&D, and technical departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on maintenance-related projects.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 6+ years of experience in food manufacturing, including batch and continuous manufacturing, site engineering, and equipment maintenance.
  • Leadership and Supervisory Experience: 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting, with proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Working Environment

The Maintenance Supervisor will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme temperatures. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
