JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial Analyst: Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team within a reputable organization. This role offers excellent leadership, growth opportunities, and a balanced work environment.


SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions for this esteemed company. Key responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, data modeling, process enhancement, and comprehensive financial analysis.

The Financial Analyst will be tasked with cultivating essential relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and promoting departmental efficiencies. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will engage in projects that align with new organizational initiatives. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage critical financial and operational data reporting.
  • Produce insightful financial reports that include written analyses highlighting key drivers and trends to aid in decision-making. Prepare weekly financial updates for senior management.
  • Conduct financial planning activities such as budgets and forecasts. Perform variance analyses and monitor investment returns. Interpret and communicate findings to Senior Financial Leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in quarterly reporting processes, including the preparation of financial reports and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate in the development of financial models, contribute to cross-functional project teams, and conduct analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a proactive team member, assisting colleagues as necessary and learning from peers and supervisors; support the objectives of the region, division, and organization; demonstrate initiative in the interest of the company and its clientele.
  • Execute additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A.

  • Proficient in personal computers, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and familiar with related software.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making skills.
