Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Silgan Containers. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of physical inventory, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and managing internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory through meticulous tracking and reporting.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a diverse accounting team, fostering teamwork and ensuring efficient workflow within the department.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing setting.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with JD Edwards and OnBase platforms is required for efficient data management.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly in creating and modifying complex spreadsheets.
