Financial Audit Manager

Join Creative Financial Staffing in St. Petersburg, Florida, as we seek a highly skilled Financial Audit Manager to lead our Finance Department's internal and external financial reporting efforts.

About the Role:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and prepare the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and supervise staff assignments, including selection, placement, promotion, safety, appraisal, training, and discipline.
  • Lead the coordination of internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement new GASB standards and other authoritative financial regulations.
  • Prepare and coordinate quarterly and ad-hoc financial reports for presentations to administrative staff and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of GAAP experience.
  • Government Industry experience and/or public accounting experience.

  • Competitive salary range: $90,000-$120,000.
