Job Summary

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, managing the financial operations of the company, and ensuring compliance in financial reporting. This role includes handling trade accounting for promotions and deductions, overseeing the annual audit, and managing cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the month-end close process and ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee the annual audit and ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations.
  • Handle trade accounting for chargebacks, promotions, and deductions.
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Oversee tax reporting and ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Manage inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Perform hands-on financial tasks and support the finance team.
Qualifications
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience, particularly with month-end close processes and inventory management.
  • Branded consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience, including trade accounting, rebates, chargebacks, promotions, and deduction accounting.
  • Proven experience in high-growth work environments.
