Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to work in a supportive school district. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, preferably in school-based settings.

Estimated Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are looking for an Instructional Specialist who can develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. This role requires providing specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid state teaching certification/license in Special Education
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner-city settings is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
