As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to students' diverse needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment that promotes academic and social growth.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Valid state teaching certification/license in Special Education
- Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
Compensation Package:
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
- Paid weekly (W-2), health/dental/vision insurance, and 401k matching
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. You will be expected to adapt your teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
