Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to join our airport leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and driving the daily floor operations at our station.

The ideal candidate for this position will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be a hands-on coach for security, customer service, and sales, and will be responsible for ensuring CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures are conducted with the highest levels of security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spending 80% of time on the floor in a customer-facing environment at the airport.
  • Ensuring CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures are conducted with the highest levels of security and integrity.
  • Monitoring and driving security, service, and sales on each shift.
  • Managing shift briefings, debriefs, and huddles, as well as any changes, breaks, and rotations.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards.
  • Overseeing asset control and devices - understanding how our technology works and being able to troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Representing CLEAR throughout the airport, TSA, and airline community by building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Managing incident prevention and responses.
  • Attending station management team meetings.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation (i.e. retail, restaurants, hospitality, rental cars).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Proficiency in using technology daily in your work.
  • Required to successfully complete a government background investigation.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures set forth by CLEAR, airport, state, and federal regulations.
  • Availability to work a non-traditional schedule (i.e. weekends, holidays, early mornings, and/or evenings).
