Dining and Activity Center Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the daily operations of our dining and activity center. The successful candidate will create a welcoming environment, ensure the center runs efficiently, and provide leadership to volunteers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for participants, volunteers, and guests.
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the assigned center.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations regarding food service and food safety.
- Recruit and train volunteers, and assign and monitor their work.
- Communicate with staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Build partnerships with community members to promote the center and its services.
- Manage petty cash and finances, and complete required paperwork and reports.
- Awareness of food service fundamentals.
- Ability to learn and follow Health Department requirements and Sanitation Codes.
- Organizational skills and ability to plan activities and direct the work of others.
- Desire to work with low-income, elderly, frail, or disabled individuals.
- Knowledge of local community resources and ability to connect participants with them.
- Confidentiality of program and participant information.
- Good oral and written communication skills and public relations skills.
- Flexibility, creativity in program planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good judgment, professionalism, tact, and integrity.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 12 months related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the local community.
- Acceptable equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm.
