Job Overview

Diversified Maintenance Systems, LLC is seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team of over 10,000 outstanding professionals. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning all floor surfaces, restrooms, and other areas of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Clean Floor Surfaces: Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum all floor surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Follow Safety Procedures: Use chemical cleaners and power equipment in accordance with established procedures to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
  • Clean and Maintain Restrooms and Other Areas: Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Empty Trash Cans and Replenish Supplies: Empty trash cans for proper disposal and replenish paper products and sanitary supplies as needed.
  • Perform Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment, and spot clean carpets as needed.
  • Follow Housekeeping Schedule: Adhere to established housekeeping schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.
  • Operate Heavy Cleaning Equipment: Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers, to perform specialized cleaning tasks.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Reliability: Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Authorization to Work: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Drug Test: Must be able to successfully pass a drug test in some situations.
  • Prior Cleaning Experience: Some prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Benefits
