Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role involves identifying and addressing maintenance issues promptly to prevent escalation. The Facility Maintenance Specialist will undertake a variety of repair and upkeep tasks throughout the premises. Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Conducting routine cleaning of the facility and associated areas
  • Maintaining the outdoor spaces as required
  • Completing necessary reports and checklists
  • Assisting with toll collection duties as needed
  • Performing other related tasks as directed by Management
  • Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments to toll collection systems and equipment as instructed
  • Providing support to Management in administrative tasks as required

Nature of Work:
  • The Facility Maintenance Specialist is accountable for the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility and its equipment.
  • Regular cleaning tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, and window cleaning, all of which must be performed effectively and as needed. The grounds should be maintained in a tidy and appealing manner.
  • Punctuality is essential, and the specialist must execute the tasks assigned by the location manager.
  • Maintaining accuracy in toll collection and accounting for collected funds is crucial, with the ability to fill in for toll attendants when necessary.
  • Providing courteous assistance to customers is expected.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of sales, reporting, and accounting related to toll collection is vital for assisting customers and supporting Management.
  • In the absence of Management, the Facility Maintenance Specialist will ensure operations proceed without interruption and will be included in emergency contact lists.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 per hour
