Field Service Specialist

Actalent is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering and sciences services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the life cycle and implementation of chemical feed equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:- Install new equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines
- Inspect and maintain equipment regularly to identify and remedy potential issues
- Conduct daily chemical analyses and report variables such as pH and conductivity
- Repair equipment and its components as necessary
- Monitor and adjust chemical levels and applications frequently
- Document inspections, repairs, and replacements accurately
- Provide regular reports on equipment status
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and concerns
- Communicate repair procedures and provide optimization recommendations to customers
- Maintain high safety standards, including HAZMAT protocols
- Train end-users on proper implementation and maintenance of equipment, documenting the training
- Manage chemical and equipment inventory
- Continue education on technology and industry standards, attending training sessions
- Strong technical skills
- Experience with detailed, hands-on mechanical work
