At First Step Home, a leading residential and outpatient treatment program dedicated to women's centered care for addictions and co-occurring mental health and trauma related issues, we are seeking an experienced SUD/MH Clinical Supervisor to join our team. With over two decades of experience in the field of chemical dependency, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled clinical supervisor who will provide individual counseling, group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention to our clients. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing clinical supervision to dependently licensed staff and interns, facilitating didactic and therapeutic groups, and conducting individual counseling with assigned clients. Additionally, they will identify and evaluate crisis situations and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Work with clients to develop Individual Treatment Plans according to OMHAS and CARF person/family-centered standards, providing individual counseling, group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to dependently licensed staff, therapists, and interns in a group setting and individually.
  • Service Monitoring: Review and monitor services and activities, documenting progress according to OMHAS standards.
  • Supervisory Support: Attend individual supervision sessions with the Director of Clinical Services or designate.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree in Social Work, licensure as a LISW-S, and at least two years' experience working in the field of chemical dependency. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for providing high-quality client care.
