Spacecraft Rendezvous and Proximity Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Rendezvous and Proximity Operations GN&C Simulation Engineer to join our team at Mb Solutions Inc. This position will play a critical role in developing on-orbit Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) simulations in support of Commercial Visiting Vehicle missions to the International Space Station (ISS).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and integrate math models and simulations of commercial visiting vehicle GN&C systems using established software processes.
- Perform and document simulation verification and validation (V&V) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Create and deliver math model and simulation documentation to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and resolve simulation issues, and assist team members in resolving complex problems.
- Interact with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors during technical meetings and working groups.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in the field or a related area.
- Experience with Linux, C/C++, and/or Python programming languages.
- Experience with version control systems and software development processes.
- Strong understanding of GN&C principles and orbital mechanics.
- Ability to apply knowledge and experience towards timely completion of technical products and services.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-company team environment and lead by example.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering school.
- Experience with spacecraft rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking.
- Experience with orbital mechanics and simulation development.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and LaTeX.
- Experience with JSC TRICK Simulation Environment and JEOD modeling package.
