Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of aircraft structures solutions, including design, analysis, and testing.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of programs.
  • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure program success.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure successful program execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience as an assigned manager of engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural design or analysis engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with aircraft, missile, spacecraft, or similar vehicle structural design and/or analysis.
  • Experience in developing proposals and in customer interactions.
  • 12+ years of aerospace industry experience in structural design and analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manager.
  • Experience using Boeing Non-Recurring Product Development (NRPD) or equivalent Boeing Development Processes.
  • Experience utilizing Model Based Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • Experience leading Boeing Defense Air Vehicle Structures development/design/analysis tasks.
  • Experience working as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
