Job Title: Senior Mold Maker

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mold Maker to join our team in Maryville, TN. As a key member of our Tool Room team, you will be responsible for designing, building, fine-tuning, and repairing injection molds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret customer-supplied parts, drawings, and computer files to design and build high-quality injection molds.
  • Utilize machine centers to achieve desired results and fabricate molds that meet our high standards.
  • Fine-tune molds based on feedback from the molding department and conduct complicated mold maintenance as needed.
  • Notify managers or project managers of any materials or tools required and participate in corrective/preventive action reviews.
  • Train mold maker apprentices in fundamental tool/mold making practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • 10 years of injection molding tooling experience (layout and build)
  • Computer literate/CAD literate
  • Qualified on all tool room equipment
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong commitment to quality, productivity, and team performance.
Work Environment:

Our manufacturing environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. You may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection when on the manufacturing floor.
