Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Actalent is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the creation and improvement of products within our engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer requirements and generate internal system requirements
  • Perform mechanical design and analyses, including packaging complex mechanical airborne systems
  • Lead engineering trade studies and provide design solutions to resolve mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer needs

Requirements:

  • Strong background in mechanical design and analysis
  • Experience with system requirements specification and design analysis
  • Knowledge of fuel pumping systems, vapor cooling systems, and actuation systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
