Director Cybersecurity Job Description

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Director Cybersecurity to lead our global cybersecurity programs and protect our Enterprise infrastructure, networks, devices, applications, and data. As a key member of our Chief Security Office, you will be responsible for directing cybersecurity programs that safeguard our customers, vendors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team responsible for managing a suite of existing complex and expansive Enterprise security controls.
  • Direct end-to-end lifecycle management of security controls from concept and implementation through EOL.
  • Support and be available for 24x7 call to work activities to diagnose and resolve security controls related impacts to performance and functionality of applications, networks, and devices.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team to analyze and assess security control solutions, improve security efficacy of embedded controls, and identify strategic and tactical roadmaps.
  • Analysis of complex security issues and development and engineering activities focused on mitigating risk.
  • Evaluate various hardware and software solutions, recommending purchases to add or augment existing controls, based on emerging threat landscape and potential gaps.
  • Develop policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events, vulnerability issues, and data leakage, for internal and external customers.
  • Continuous security policy tuning, validation, and efficacy testing.
  • Routine reporting of project progress and actual risk reduction, to all management levels.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cybersecurity related fields.
  • Requires 10 or more years of related experience.
  • Prior experience managing technical teams required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, support, and tune large scale, complex, global Enterprise security solution deployments.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in all security domains listed under key technology skills, and a track record of reducing security risk.
  • Advanced Cybersecurity expertise across endpoint, network, data, and cloud environments.
  • Ability to drive architectural, design, and engineering functions.
  • Security policy creation, tuning, validation, and reporting; including metrics dashboards.
  • Vendor negotiations, management, and partnerships.
  • 24x7 Tier 4 support, including rapid call to work outage support.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage resources and budget.
  • Requires daily office presence (3-5 days a week) at one of the listed locations.

AT&T offers a competitive salary range of $171,000.00 - $287,200.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement program, paid time off and holidays, paid parental leave, paid caregiver leave, adoption reimbursement, disability benefits, life and accidental death insurance, and employee assistance programs.
