Community Based Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Crisis Stabilization Specialist to provide community-based support services to adults in need of crisis intervention. As an independent contractor, you will work closely with clients to develop therapeutic relationships, acquire basic living skills, and link them to necessary treatment providers.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide crisis stabilization services to adults at imminent risk of hospitalization and out-of-home placement
- Develop safety plans and implement interventions to ensure client safety in their current environment
- Link clients to necessary outpatient treatment providers, including counseling, medication management, and group counseling
- Licensed or registered as a QMHP - A/C by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professions
- No employment with multiple Community-Based agencies
- Ongoing training in mental illness characteristics and interventions
The estimated annual salary for this opportunity is $65,000-$85,000, depending on experience and schedule.
