Job Summary

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Grant Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the grants management functions of our agency, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal grant programs, particularly focused on homelessness, and experience using Blackbaud software. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of federal, state, local, and private grants and contracts, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with our Chief Financial Officer to develop budgets and narratives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead grant and contract staff, providing direction for processes related to pass-through programs, RFPs, budgeting, and grants management software.
  • Manage a portfolio of federal, state, local, and private grants and contracts.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports regarding contracts, policies, and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop budgets and narratives that align with project goals and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of grant agreements, reports, and other required documents.
  • Oversee monitoring processes for pass-through programs to evaluate compliance risks among subrecipients.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience with housing, homeless, or community development grant programs.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in grant management, ideally with HUD or other federal grants.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring diverse teams.
