About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Mobility Services Tax Manager to join our team at Grant Thornton. As a key member of our global mobility services team, you will be responsible for delivering a full range of global mobility services to multiple clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise for a global workforce.
  • Develop and manage staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.
  • Formulate and deliver innovative cross-border tax planning and savings strategies for a multinational workforce.
Day-to-Day Activities

As a Global Mobility Services Tax Manager, your day-to-day activities may include:

  • Overseeing the efforts of multiple client services teams on client engagements.
  • Planning, executing, directing, and completing international expatriate services projects in a wide variety of industries.
  • Providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
  • Marketing, selling, designing, and implementing tax-planning strategies for clients and managing to budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA or JD is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in progressive tax consulting, preferably with at least 3 years focused on international expatriate services.
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate global mobility department of a multinational company.
  • Superior analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in individual tax consulting and compliance.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound employee relocation consulting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate cross-border tax concepts to clients who are not tax specialists.
