About the Opportunity

Pay: $78,000-$82,000 per year

Quarterly Bonus: Eligible for an annual potential of an additional $5,000

About the Role:

As a Clinical Supervisor at Volunteers of America Massachusetts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care and practice by clinical staff in our residential programs. You will report to the Program Director and serve as a thought partner and clinical leader, developing, implementing, and training on clinical policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Clinical operations and supervise a team of masters-level clinicians
  • Coordinate and present clinical trainings and research to staff
  • Ensure effective implementation of Evidence-Based Practices in group and individual counseling as well as Trauma Informed Practices
  • Conduct utilization review of clinical charts and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases
  • Work collaboratively with staff to integrate case management and client-centered interventions
  • Work in collaboration with the Residential Program Director to ensure that all clinical documentation needed is completed and submitted in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • An advanced degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Three years' post-licensure preferred
  • Must have experience, competency, and/or training in both substance use disorder work and mental health
  • Prefer a minimum of five years in clinical settings as a clinician and some experience providing peer supervision to other clinicians
  • Demonstrated knowledge of milieu therapy in residential settings; substance use modalities, harm reduction approaches, trauma-informed care, whole-person health approaches, dual diagnosis, and commitment to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable
