Position Overview

As the Merchandising Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing effective sales floor merchandising, pricing strategies, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Your expertise in designated departments will ensure that all merchandising processes are executed in alignment with brand standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement store merchandising standards in accordance with visual and merchandise guidelines for optimal product presentation.
  • Ensure adequate product availability on the sales floor through timely remerchandising and replenishment based on sales performance and seasonal trends.
  • Conduct merchandising tasks accurately and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and brand standards.
  • Manage pricing activities, including price adjustments, signage updates, and ticketing, with precision.
  • Uphold product protection standards and company policies to minimize inventory loss.
  • Assist in training team members on merchandising standards, product knowledge, and tools, following Kohl's brand guidelines as directed by store management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to merchandise incoming products, focusing on enhancing the customer experience.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, teamwork, and inclusivity.
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and engage appropriate partners when necessary.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, anticipating needs and resolving issues effectively.
  • Lead by example, striving to meet or exceed personal performance goals.
  • Ensure strong operational standards, effective loss prevention measures, and accurate merchandising presentation.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently within established timeframes.
  • Train and reinforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies to protect associates and customers.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or service industries.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and lifting regularly.
  • Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (minimum of 8 hours).
  • Ability to visually verify information and inspect merchandise.
  • Compliance with health and safety standards.

Pay Starts At: $16.65
