Position Summary

The Retail Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all store functions and departments in collaboration with the management team. This position is essential in ensuring the availability of the right products in the appropriate quantities and at the right times. You will engage with various stakeholders to enhance product adoption and promote sales while effectively managing operational timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently or with the assistance of trained staff, execute the operational cycle from setup to returns.
  • Utilize department-specific technology to address inquiries regarding products, recommend services, manage inventory, and process transactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all store departments to provide effective support and guidance to both customers and team members.
  • Be present on the sales floor to welcome customers, respond to inquiries, and assist with purchases as needed.
  • Ensure an organized and appealing sales environment by managing product displays and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Assist with processing various payment transactions as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent movement throughout the store to access different areas and products.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management or buying role preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to align products with customer needs.
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and accounting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
