Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute monthly financial closing tasks, including the preparation of necessary journal entries to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Evaluate financial data and reports to deliver accurate and timely financial insights to management for informed decision-making.
  • Establish, update, and track key performance indicators and financial metrics or dashboards, emphasizing trends and variance analysis to communicate the financial status of each unit.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to create forecasts and reports, encompassing financial performance, variance analysis, and cost assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis of actual expenditures to senior management and the operations team, offering insights on trends, investment opportunities, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytical support as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
  • 3-7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or modeling.
  • Proficient data analytics and mining capabilities are essential.
  • Experience in logistics or operations is preferred.
  • Ability to exercise moderate independent judgment with guidance from supervisors.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required; proficiency in MS Access or other database tools is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented and highly analytical, capable of translating data and trends into clear, actionable insights.
  • Highly organized and self-driven individual with a strong work ethic, thriving in a collaborative financial management environment.
  • Strong understanding of the significance of hands-on collaboration with the operations team and personnel at various organizational levels.
  • Quality program certification (Six Sigma, ISO, LEAN, etc.) is preferred.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Completion of a standard employment application, along with a background check and drug screening, is required.
