About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Story Definition and Prioritization: Manage the regular cadence for story definition, writing, review, and prioritization to maintain a well-refined and prioritized backlog.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Research and analyze requirements to ensure that the appropriate information and context is available for the team to conduct productive story writing sessions.
  • Process Mapping and Documentation: Reviews or creates process and flow maps to understand business processes and system flows, and fully document the required business analysis deliverables.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Provide timely and professional client-focused communications, anticipate client concerns and questions, and provide consulting in information security technology alignment to the client.
  • Acceptance Criteria and Story Dependencies: Identify and document acceptance criteria and story dependencies to facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 4 years of closely related work experience, with 3 years in business analysis, and 2 years in an Agile environment as a business analyst.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in a broad range of IT and cybersecurity areas, systems thinking approach to problem-solving, practical experience collaborating with stakeholders, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), LEAN Kanban, and Scrum.
  • Business Analysis Certifications: CCBA certification of Competency in Business Analysis.
  • IT Background: Experience in IT, especially in cybersecurity and infrastructure components.
  • Utilities Background: Experience in the energy sector.
