Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security professional to undertake the following responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain security solutions and technologies to safeguard data and assets from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption.
- Provide leadership in projects, ensuring security oversight and effective risk management throughout.
- Establish security design guidelines, frameworks, and models.
- Identify emerging security threats and risks, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
- Document security objectives and participate in projects that generate new intellectual property.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships across the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative security products and technologies.
- Develop and interpret security policies and procedures.
- Support vendor risk assessment and due diligence processes.
- Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of security tools utilized in the insider threat program.
- Proactively seek solutions to mitigate risks and effectively communicate these risks to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Experience in the development, maintenance, and daily operation of security-related applications and systems.
- Conduct security assessments, research current threat techniques, and develop emulations of these techniques.
- Optimize security processes and recommend improvements and automation opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across various security domains, raising awareness of security risks within the organization.
- Participate in technical investigations and training opportunities as required.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience in information security.
- At least two years of experience in software development, systems administration, or IT infrastructure management.

Additional Skills

- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking administration.
- Experience in defensive cybersecurity roles such as SOC, detection engineering, or threat hunting.
- Familiarity with adversary emulation and cyber intelligence analysis.
- Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in Git workflows, Linux distributions, and Python.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Packer, or Ansible.
- Strong communication skills and technical troubleshooting expertise.
