Job Description

Cypress HCM is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing DLP solutions to monitor and prevent data leaks across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement DLP solutions to monitor and prevent data leaks.
  • Integrate DLP policies into current infrastructure with minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Engineer and optimize alerts from DLP systems and related technologies.
  • Audit DLP rules regularly to improve accuracy and reduce false positives using data analytics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce redundant tasks.
  • Analyze and remediate data loss events.
  • Use event metrics to enhance security posture and improve monitoring and response processes.
  • Manage and optimize web gateways for malware, phishing, and data exfiltration protection.
  • Implement web filtering and real-time threat detection policies.
  • Configure and monitor cloud web application firewalls (WAF) to protect web applications.
  • Work with developers to optimize WAF rules without affecting functionality.
  • Maintain security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure aligned with enterprise requirements.
  • Collaborate with the threat management team on high-risk threats.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with DLP tools, including cloud security solutions.
  • Expertise in DLP management and cloud web application firewalls.
  • Experience with web gateways and supporting cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
  • Knowledge of business concepts and decision-making in a cybersecurity context.
  • Applied understanding of emerging technologies and innovation.
  • 5-7+ years in cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with security tools like Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience configuring policies and regular expressions.
*** Pay: $107,000-142,000 (Compensation can vary depending on experience)
