Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary:
GE Aerospace is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to provide multi-disciplinary security support for classified government programs. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and the ability to accomplish their work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the security of personnel, facilities, computers, general information, and information systems for government classified programs.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a discipline and use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Requirements:
• DOD 8570 IAT II certification required.
• US Government Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in IT Security Oversight) + 2 years of experience in IT Security Oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills.
