OSH Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled OSH Safety Compliance Officer I to join our team at the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees across the Commonwealth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective workplace safety standards and protocols
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Collaborate with employees, management, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance
- Provide training and education on workplace safety best practices
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents and near-misses
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in workplace safety and compliance
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
