The successful candidate will also manage a team of drivers, ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and drivers are in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign, plan, and dispatch drivers/contractors, working closely with management and Operations teams;
  • Recruit and grow a stable driving team to maintain Berger's goals;
  • Develop partnerships to secure hauling opportunities;
  • Maintain data integrity to ensure accurate information is available for internal and external customers;
  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery;
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of Owner Operator Interstate planning and dispatch experience. Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, and robust geographical knowledge are also essential.
