Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes. As a Nurse Specialist in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for supporting patients/residents with activities of daily living, assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs and height and weight measurements, feeding and ambulating patients/residents according to specific procedures, maintaining patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition, observing and reporting changes in patient/resident conditions, orienting patients/families to unit and instructing patient on safety measures, and performing clerical work such as answering phones, entering data and maintaining medical records.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
  • BLS certification required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and health savings account.
