Job Summary

The University of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Assistant/Patient Services Representative to join our team at the Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHWB). As the first point of contact for students seeking services and access to care, this role is critical in providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and provide information to students, staff, and university departments via phone and in person
  • Build clinical schedules for the CHWB and collaborate with administrative coordinators and staff to troubleshoot issues and provide problem resolution
  • Support professional staff in data management and compilation, and assist in determining student needs and assigning appropriate appointments
  • Provide logistical coordination of appointments, follow-up, confirmation, and questionnaires, and promote an inclusive environment for students and staff
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a specific or related field
  • Two years of administrative office support experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic health records preferred
  • Ability to organize work priorities, plan, and adhere to structured regulations
  • Ability to communicate interpersonally and sensitively to human concerns
