Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development of energy conservation, renewable energy, and facility enhancement initiatives.
- Support energy planning, including the creation of installation Energy and Water Plans.
- Conduct energy audits and propose energy conservation measures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in managing energy services contracts.
- In-depth understanding of Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC), Utility Energy Services Contracts (UESC), and Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) projects.
- Current Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with energy service companies (ESCO).
- Familiarity with Department of Defense energy management standards.
- Experience in conducting design reviews and developing energy resilience projects, including onsite renewable energy integration, energy storage, and microgrids.
- Knowledge of decarbonization and electrification strategies to minimize greenhouse gas emissions.
