About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Teva Pharmaceuticals. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in the Washington, DC area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and medical office staff.
  • Provide product demonstrations, detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with healthcare providers to promote products and provide patient education.
  • Regularly review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
  • Maintain a high level of call activity with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.
  • Apply creative problem-solving techniques to improve performance and company effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all Teva's compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for the assigned territory.
Territory Boundaries

The Sales Representative will be responsible for the North/West and South/East territories, covering the Silver Spring and Washington DC areas.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least one year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Proven record of accomplishments in this specific market toward meeting established objectives.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with healthcare professionals in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing is preferred.
  • New product launch experience is preferred.
  • Broad therapeutic area experience, particularly in the relevant therapeutic area, is preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to successfully pass background, motor, and drug screening.
  • Ability to travel as required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
  • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
