Responsibilities
The Automobile Liability Claims Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Managing caseloads, including daily email, voicemail, and phone communications.
- Identifying coverage issues, investigating incidents, recognizing fraud indicators, and accurately assessing liability.
- Negotiating liability and damages with involved insurance providers, legal representatives, and claimants.
- Assisting both internal and external clients with claim resolutions via phone, email, and written correspondence, while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collecting and reviewing evidence, reports, medical documentation, and litigation materials promptly.
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate financial reserves.
- Processing settlements and payments in a timely manner.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in adjusting personal or commercial auto injury claims
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and computer skills
- Proficient time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
- Experience managing caseloads exceeding 200 claims
- Familiarity with handling claims across multiple states
- Licensing is advantageous but not mandatory
- A college degree is beneficial but not required
