Fleet Health Manager Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Fleet Health Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our power generation fleet. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to guide and motivate team members, implement strategies, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of Condition Monitoring Analysts, PM Supervisors, and Power Generation Operators.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational procedures and schedules to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Coach staff and manage resources to achieve company goals in areas of employee and customer satisfaction, market share, and profitability.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals.
  • Lead all safety initiatives and be accountable for safety performance in Field Service.
  • Assist with determining short-term and long-term departmental strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with team, customers, and across the organization regarding all service work.
  • Manage departmental budget within scope of responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5-7 years' experience in the power generation industry, as well as a depth of knowledge pertaining to engine service issues, business accounting, and leadership.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written instructions and procedures, business correspondence, and routine reports.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to understand and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers or employees of the organization.
