Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Republic Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians and ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of technicians to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet
  • Plan and schedule repair work to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Monitor operational performance and efficiency, and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Conduct daily shop huddles and fleet walks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Perform inspections of outside repairs to ensure quality and compliance
  • Oversee maintenance shop inventory control and ensure necessary equipment and parts are available
  • Manage related administrative matters, including payroll and employee records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
  • 3 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role or similar position
