About the Role:
- We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a strong work ethic.
- The ideal candidate will have financial industry experience and be interested in starting a career with a stable, growing, and respected financial institution.
- As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing personalized service to our members, promoting financial products and services, and resolving member issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process teller transactions, open and close accounts, and solve problems.
- Update member information, conduct loan application interviews, process loan applications, and fund loans.
- Present loan disclosures and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals and stay up-to-date on all credit union products and services.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of current financial institution experience as a Teller or Customer Service Representative, or two years of current sales, retail, or customer service experience with cash handling responsibilities.
- Intermediate-level proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to offer solutions that meet our members' needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Symitar (Episys).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
