Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Escorting Students: Greet students entering and leaving the building, and escort them to their classrooms or administration offices as needed.
- Building Relationships: Build positive relationships with students to create a supportive and inclusive school culture.
- Monitoring and Supervision: Monitor students in hallways and cafeterias throughout the school day, including morning and afternoon dismissal times.
- Ensuring School Safety: Ensure that the school is a safe environment by monitoring and enforcing school policies and procedures.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with building principals, school liaison officers, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and secure school operation.
- Good Employment and Attendance Record: Possess a good employment and attendance record, with excellent public relations skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students.
- Background and Physical Screening: Successfully pass background (fingerprints) and physical screening.
- Ability to Follow Directions: Ability to follow directions, make decisions, and assume responsibility for activities without supervision.
This is a 10-month, full-time position with a 1.0 FTE schedule, working 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. The salary is $15.90 per hour, and the position reports to the Building Principal.
